Hi there!
How have you been? I have had a cold more than for two weeks, and I haven’t felt good recently. I don’t want to make excuses, though. I hope I will feel better soon.
Today I want to write about an expensive type of Japanese food called Kaiseki.
A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated my husband’s father’s 83th birthday at a restaurant. The restaurant, which was built in the Edo period, was very interesting so I took lots of pictures.
Since the owner of the restaurant’s mother is from Imari, there were so many antique Imari collections there.
While eating, we can enjoy viewing a beautiful Japanese garden as well.
The wife of the owner of the restaurant was very kind, and she showed me several rooms.
Even the bathroom was very Japanese. This is a ladies’ room.
The ceiling was built in the Taisho period, and according to the wife there is no people who can fix it.
All the dishes were excellent. The service was wonderful, and the building was very Japanese. We really enjoyed eating out at the restaurant, and we want to visit there again soon!
